Donors and Support

The construction of our new building would not be possible without the support of the city, state, and local community. Over the last year we have been supported financially through membership dues, merchandise sales, donations of all sizes, and grants.

In 2022 we were awarded a Heritage Support Grant by the Indiana Historical Society and made possible by Lily Endowment, Inc. This grant has allowed us to conduct an assessment of the basement and second floor at 1606 119th Street in order to determine how to safely store our collection. In February 2023 the Notre Dame Federal Credit Union donated $5,000 towards building out the collection storage.

We are currently looking for donations to further assist us towards making our basement storage goals a reality, building out our new exhibition space, and managing day to day of the new building.
